Tec Inc. is delighted to announce that Scott Dusenbury, PE, CEM has been promoted to Assistant Director of Mechanical Engineering in recognition of his project-based mentoring and personalized project supervision to Tec's mechanical engineering staff. In addition, Scott developed Tec University, an internal monthly educational program focused on providing additional technical education to both mechanical and electrical engineers.
As Assistant Director, Scott will share management responsibilities for the mechanical engineering department, ensuring client satisfaction through the successful completion of commercial, industrial, institutional, and federal building projects.
In addition, Scott has also been promoted to an associate, an integral part of Tec's Management Team. This is the first step on the path to become principal of the firm.
Scott joined Tec in October 2015 bringing 8 years of design/build experience to the firm. Scott is an expert in energy engineering with a focus on audits, commissioning, and energy program development. He has extensive experience managing large complex projects and designing projects for building automation and control systems, industrial ventilation, and laboratories.
Scott is active in the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) where he currently serves as the Cleveland Chapter President. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
