Lutheran Hospital Fire Suppression System Upgrade
Cleveland, Ohio

Tec completed Mechanical and Fire Protection engineering to provide the wet and dry sprinkler systems for areas of Lutheran Hospital that did not have existing protection. The upgrade allows the hospital to be in compliance with The Joint Commission Standards.

A portion of  the hospital was already sprinklered and the unprotected areas included approximately 173,000 square feet of the  building. Most areas were completed through an extension of the existing wet sprinkler system. A new fire pump replaced the existing fire pump. Small areas that are not heated use a dry sprinkler system. The project was phased to provide the least disruption to occupants.
